Smile Education is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across primary school settings in Bushbury. The role is full-time with long-term prospects and pays £90-£108 per day, depending on experience.

You will work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, support individuals and groups, and help maintain a calm, inclusive classroom. DBS update service or willingness to apply is required.

Formación

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience in a school setting is required if qualification is not held
• Previous experience as a TA in a primary school
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
• Positive, patient and flexible with pupils of varying abilities
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply for one

Responsabilidades

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Early Years to Year 6
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and progress
• Encourage positive behaviour and create a calm, inclusive classroom environment
• Assist pupils with varying abilities and learning needs
• Prepare classroom resources and activities to boost engagement
• Collaborate with teachers, TAs and school staff for best pupil outcomes
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
• Assist with playground duties and school activities as required by the school
