Smile Education is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in the WV11 area, Wolverhampton. This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP and involves covering lessons across all primary year groups to help pupils reach their potential.

The role suits an established HLTA or an aspiring teacher/ECT seeking classroom experience without the pressures of a full-time teaching post. Competitive daily rates offered.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent classroom experience.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Ability to lead whole-class lessons across primary age ranges.
• Strong classroom management and a flexible, proactive approach to supporting learning.

Responsabilités

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when required.
• Support teaching and learning across a range of primary year groups.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupil progress.
• Adapt confidently to different classes and learning needs.
