Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support GP clinics across Battle and the surrounding region. This role involves routine clinical observations, basic procedures, ECGs, phlebotomy where trained, and assisting nursing teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will contribute to safe patient care in flexible shifts, including weekdays, evenings and weekends, with opportunities for short-term or ongoing placements across community NHS settings.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine clinical observations
• Supporting treatment room tasks and basic procedures
