Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics across Somerton. This role blends routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general clinic support to help deliver safe, efficient patient care within organised GP environments.

You will perform observations, assist with treatment room duties, ECGs and routine health checks, and provide phlebotomy support where trained.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations
