Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics in Brixham. The role covers routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general clinic support within busy GP environments.

You will perform observations, assist with treatment rooms, ECGs and basic health checks, and help maintain smooth patient flow. DBS checks are expected; flexible weekday, evening or weekend shifts are available for short-term or ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine clinical observations
