Job summary

Ipsos is seeking a Field Market Research Interviewer to cover local routes, stops or stations across the UK. You’ll use a tablet and survey materials to speak with passengers and collect practical feedback to help improve public transport.

Shifts are paid per shift, typically around 2 per week, and flexible to fit other commitments. A full driving license and access to a car are preferred, with travel across local areas and bus environments involved.

Qualifications

• Are confident speaking to members of the public.
• Are comfortable working independently in different locations.
• Can stay motivated, even when responses are low.
• Have a full driving licence and access to a car.
• Are happy travelling locally and working on buses.
• Are looking for flexible, ongoing fieldwork opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Approach passengers and invite them to take part in a short survey.
• Ask a set of structured questions and accurately record responses.
• Capture feedback on their journey and experience.
• Occasionally count passenger numbers (footfall).
