Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the Crawley area. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels, both by van and on foot, across your round.

Passing a driving assessment on start is required. Shifts vary, with pay rates outlined by the role and time of day. Ideal for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active while serving the community.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to households and businesses.
• Drive the Royal Mail delivery van on assigned rounds.
• Complete parts of the route on foot and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain restricted items in line with policy.
