Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers through Angard Recruitment. You will deliver letters and parcels around your community, combining van driving with on-foot delivery, in all weathers.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and the ability to walk extensive distances and lift mail bags. Shifts vary, and you’ll pass a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a Royal Mail round, on foot and by van.
• Ensure secure delivery and handle election materials and controlled items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers and represent Royal Mail in the community.
