Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels in your community. You will drive a Royal Mail van and also deliver on foot during parts of your route, providing reliable service whatever the weather.

Roles involve walking long distances, handling items up to 16 kg, and working flexible shifts. Training includes a driving assessment at start, with pay rates outlined for various shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps a day and handle a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a delivery route on foot and by van.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery vehicle across your round with care and customer service focus.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle items per business standards.
