Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic Post Persons with Driving to join our team in the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van across your delivery area, delivering letters and parcels and providing excellent service in your community. The role combines driving with foot deliveries, staying active, and interacting with residents daily.

Expect to pass a driving assessment and work flexible shifts. The pay structure varies by shift, with day, dawn, early, evening, late and night slots clearly defined

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adaptability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, on foot and by van, with exceptional service.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items (food/alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
• Pass a driving assessment at start.
