Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your local area, with some walking on foot to complete your rounds.

Shifts vary and payment is hourly according to the shift description (rates shown). A full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required, together with physical fitness to handle loads and travel around your community.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift mail bags up to 16kg.
• Willingness to work varying shifts with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your delivery area, some walking required.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and ensure secure delivery of all items.
