Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot along your route, come rain or shine.

Applicants must hold a full, manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and be prepared to walk long distances, carrying items up to 16kg. Shifts vary and a driving assessment is required at start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van, and lift a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive round your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials as required.
