Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail by recruiting flexible postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels, sometimes on foot, across your route, ensuring timely, safe deliveries come rain or shine.

The role combines driving a Royal Mail van with walking segments. Passing a driving assessment is required; shifts vary and can lead to permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels on your route.
• Drive the delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot, providing excellent service.
• Deliver all items on your route and follow Royal Mail standards, including handling election materials.
