Job summary

Angard Recruitment, on behalf of Royal Mail, seeks flexible delivery drivers to join as temporary Post Persons with Driving in London and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver letters and parcels, drive a Royal Mail van, and walk parts of your route to complete deliveries with care.

Roles require a full UK driving licence, the ability to walk long distances, and adaptability to shifting schedules. Training and driving assessment are provided, with pay rates varying by shift.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, drive the van and complete parts on foot, providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
