Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in Borehamwood. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and walk parts of your route to provide exceptional service.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, physical stamina, and the ability to adapt to varying shifts. A driving assessment is expected at start, with pay rates published for different shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
