Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join our team. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, driving a delivery van and delivering letters and parcels in all weather conditions.

Roles involve walking and driving throughout the day, with shifts that vary. Successful candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, be physically fit, and able to adapt quickly to changing schedules.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive a delivery route and sometimes deliver on foot.
• Pass a driving assessment at start.
