Job summary

Angard Recruitment is hiring for Royal Mail as a flexible (temporary) Post Person with Driving in Methil. You’ll be the face of the service, delivering letters and parcels on your round, combining driving a Royal Mail van with on-foot work in the community, come rain or shine.

Shifts vary; full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points required, walk 20,000 steps daily, carry mailbags up to 16 kg; pay rates from £13.69–£16.44 depending on shift.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, driving a Royal Mail van when required and sometimes delivering on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail business standards.
