Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers via Angard Staffing. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your community, with portions of your route completed on foot.

The role requires walking up to 20,000 steps daily, lifting mailbags up to 16 kg, and working shifts that vary. A full UK manual driving licence (max six points) is required; a driving assessment will be completed on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and carry mailbags up to 16 kg.
• Shifts vary; must be a flexible team player who adapts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your community, with portions of the route on foot.
• Drive the delivery van and ensure items reach their destination safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with policy.
