Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in Greater London through Angard Staffing. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

You’ll drive a Royal Mail van on your round, walk parts of your route, and handle items safely. A valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, and you must be physically fit to walk 20,000 steps daily.

Qualifications

• Driving licence: Full, manual UK licence with up to 6 points (you’ll drive a Royal Mail van).
• Physical fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps daily and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary; team players needed for short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Drive around your delivery area, delivering letters and parcels with care.
• Deliver all items on your route securely, including election materials and restricted items as per standards.
