Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible postal delivery drivers with driving and physical stamina to deliver letters and parcels across their routes. You will drive a Royal Mail van and walk parts of your round, delivering items safely in all weather.

Role requires a full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to walk long distances with a mailbag up to 16kg. Shifts vary in timing, offering adaptable, community‑focussed work with opportunities for paid, scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route, driving the Royal Mail van and walking parts of the route.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
