Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Hounslow on a daily supply basis. This is a flexible opportunity for those looking to gain experience in secondary education or work with young people without long-term commitments.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into classrooms when regular teachers are absent, supervise students, and follow pre-prepared lessons. You won’t plan or mark lessons, but you’ll lead a class independently and help maintain a

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary-aged students or young people.
• Confident in managing a classroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Able to follow instructions and deliver pre-prepared work.

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects.
• Following lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff.
• Ensuring students remain focused, engaged and on task.
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Supporting students with their learning where appropriate.
• Taking and recording attendance.
• Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
• Maintaining a safe, positive and respectful learning environment.
