Job summary

Lidl Northern Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant to greet customers, help with queries, operate tills, stock and rotate stock, and maintain high standards of store cleanliness and presentation.

We offer flexible contracts of 10, 20, 30 or 35 hours per week, with basic rates starting at £13.30 per hour and rising to £14.80 after three years. Weekend work is optional, and we provide a company pension, career development through our Leadership Academy and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is helpful but not essential.
• Must be 18+ to sell alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Assist tills and customer queries to minimise queues.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow stock rotation and waste management practices.
• Support in stock counts and replenishment.
• Adhere to health and safety and security procedures.
