Job summary

Lidl Northern Ireland is recruiting a Customer Assistant in Belfast to help deliver a fantastic customer journey from shop floor to checkout. Flexible hours are offered as 10, 20, 30, or 35 hours per week, with a standard 30‑hour contract earning £490+ per week (inclusive of unsocial hours).

Weekend work is an option and shifts can be tailored to fit your needs. You’ll interact with customers, keep shelves stocked, maintain cleanliness, and assist tills.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
• A good team player.
• Preferably, previous experience in a customer-facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensure stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
• Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow freshness and rotation principles.
• Ensure all waste is managed correctly.
• Assist in the stock count process.
