Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) to recruit a confident Cover Supervisor for a long-term temporary position with an immediate start. You will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work and help students stay focused and engaged.

The school is looking to appoint a confident Cover Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged in their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience supervising groups of young people
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A confident, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
