Job summary

Equal Teaching is seeking enthusiastic, dependable Cover Supervisors to support a partner secondary school in Llanelli. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared materials, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Upholding safeguarding standards, you will work with teaching staff to ensure pupils stay on task and engaged across a range of subjects. DBS and right to work in the UK are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school, coaching, mentoring, youth work, etc.).
• Confidence managing a classroom.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A calm, professional and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes during teacher absence
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged
• Supporting a wide range of subjects across the curriculum
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders
• Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
