Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking flexible bank support workers to assist customers with daily living tasks, budgeting, cooking and appointments, while supporting their independence and move-on into the community.

You will work within our Homelessness Service on a rota basis, with lone working required at times, and you may drive for business mileage.

What youll do
  • Assist customers with their daily living tasks to develop their independence, achieve their goals aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans
  • Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services
  • Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments
  • Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews
  • Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

You have
  • Flexibility to work at short notice, as youll be the one picking your next shift
  • Confidence to work in different?services, locations or teams and get on with colleagues
  • Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting
  • Experience of caring for others professionally or personally
  • Calm, confident decision-making even under pressure
  • You'll work within ourHomelessness Service, with lone working required at times

The practical bits

Working on a rota basis, shifts are 7am to 3pm, 9am to 5pm and 11am to 7pm. Weekend shifts are 12hrs, from 7am to 7pm.

You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)

A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), well pay for any business mileage
