Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting Bank Support Practitioners for our Castle Douglas team. These bank contracts offer flexibility to match your availability and provide vital support in the community.

No prior care experience is required; full training is provided. A UK Manual driving licence and access to your own car are essential. PVG checks and references are part of the process, and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts to ensure high-quality, person-centred care during times of annual leave, training or sickness.
• Support individuals living in their own homes in the community with disabilities and/or additional support needs; assist with daily living tasks.
• Provide meal preparation, medication support, appointments, personal finances, moving and handling, and personal care.
