Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Greenock is seeking compassionate Bank Support Practitioners to provide high-quality, person-centred care on a flexible, as-needed basis. You’ll cover shifts to support people during staff leave, training or sickness, with 1-2 shifts per week as a typical target, and help with daily living, meals, medication and appointments while promoting independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• A caring and empathetic nature.

• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with meal preparation and medication
• Providing personal care and assisting with moving and handling
• Supporting individuals to attend appointments and community activities
• Encouraging hobbies, interests, social opportunities and confidence-building
• Supporting with budgeting, daily living skills and personal organisation
• Providing emotional support and helping individuals maintain positive relationships
