Job summary

Home Group is seeking dedicated staff to help people with complex needs live more independently in the community. You’ll lead support planning, coordinate teams, and balance safeguarding with admin tasks.

You’ll assist customers with daily tasks, budgeting, appointments, and prepare them for moving on while working with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower individuals. Training is available and we value your resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating and delivering person-centred support.
• Ability to assess referrals and coordinate care.
• Comfort with budgeting tasks and daily living support.

What You’ll Do

You have

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting


• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it)


• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support


• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach


• This is a 24-hour service, where each customer receives 24 hours of support per week and has eligible adult social care needs relating to their mental health.

The practical bits

• You’ll work from 6am to 10pm, shift start times vary, only 7.5 hours 7 days a week rota.


• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)


• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
