• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in Primary education
• Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum and ability to adapt for different learning needs
• Creative and flexible approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned to the curriculum
• Adapt teaching and learning activities to meet a range of Special Educational Needs
• Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
• Build on students’ individual strengths, interests and starting points to maximise engagement
• Support students’ academic, social and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and wider professionals
• Monitor student progress during the time in class and provide feedback
