Job summary

Inspire EHC is seeking Bank SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEN near Attleborough, Norfolk. This flexible role offers opportunities to work across a dedicated SEN school, delivering tailored support and one-to-one or small group assistance.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Autism, SEMH, and communication needs, a calm and adaptable approach, and a commitment to safeguarding. Own transport may be required for rural sites across Norfolk.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Understanding of Autism, SEMH, ADHD, or communication needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH and communication needs throughout the school day.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Promoting independence, confidence and social development.
• Helping pupils access learning in a way that meets their individual needs.
• Supporting pupils during breaktimes, transitions and enrichment activities.
• Maintaining accurate records where required.
• Following safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
