Job summary

Randox Health is seeking a Bank Phlebotomist for Bournemouth and surrounding areas. This zero-hours role offers shifts on an as-needed basis, with 12-hour shifts typical and weekend work possible.

Applicants must have phlebotomy experience and a certificate or equivalent training, be IT-proficient, and possess a UK driving licence. DBS checks and hepatitis B vaccination are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
• Confident using IT programmes.
• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
• Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
• Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Help with reception, front of house and other administrative duties.
• Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
