Job summary

Randox Laboratories seeks a Bank Phlebotomist to join our flexible bank team covering clinics in Bournemouth and surrounding areas. This zero-hours contract offers shifts on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours, allowing you to accept assignments that fit your availability.

You will collect blood samples from private and corporate clients, maintain records in our Patient Information Systems, and assist with reception and admin duties.

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
• Confident using IT programmes.
• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Valid UK or Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take blood samples from private and corporate clients.
• Conduct client appointments including blood and urine sample collection, measurements, and data entry into PIS.
• Maintain accurate records in PIS and upload relevant documentation.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Help with reception, front of house and other administrative duties.
• Complete company forms, specimen labelling and laboratory test order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
