Job summary

Spire Healthcare in Seaham is seeking a Bank Bookings Administrator to join the Patient Support Centre. This zero-hours contract provides flexible, ad-hoc shifts to cover service demand, including leave and sickness absence.

You will handle patient calls, send admission forms, and support clinical teams with admin tasks and payments. The role operates 8:00am–6:00pm Monday–Friday with as-needed shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from patients and provide next steps and queries with professionalism.
• Send admission forms and ensure information is captured accurately.
• Support clinical teams with admin tasks and processing payments.
• Complete spreadsheets, manage records, and carry out back-office tasks.
