Job summary

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor for the Workington Workshop in Cumbria. You will manage the day-to-day running of the fleet workshop, supervising vehicle technicians, apprentices, fleet drivers and workshop staff, ensuring DVSA and Trust service standards are met.

Candidates should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent, with supervisory experience and a full UK driving licence including C1.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanics and Technician certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma or Certificate in vehicle workshop management or supervisory experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence including C1.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day fleet workshop operations.
• Oversee technicians, apprentices, drivers and workshop staff.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained to DVSA and Trust standards.
• Support a rotating shift pattern with associated uplifts and CPD.
