Job summary

Igloo Ltd in Nottinghamshire seeks an experienced Fleet Workshop Manager to oversee a busy automotive workshop. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality work and maintain safety standards across both passenger and commercial fleets.

Lead a team, coordinate inspections and repairs, and monitor productivity and throughput while closely collaborating with other departments. EV diagnostics and recalls on site are part of the role, with a view to ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a busy automotive workshop or large fleet operation.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Solid understanding of vehicle inspections, repairs and workshop processes.
• Experience with EV diagnostics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a busy workshop operation.
• Ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and safely to high standards.
• Lead and support workshop staff and parts team.
• Monitor performance, productivity and throughput with regular reports.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, preparations and mechanical repairs.
• Ensure EV checks and recalls are managed on site.
