Job summary

Proftech Talent is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover North East / North West / Yorkshire & Humber. You will develop new business, meet clients face-to-face and promote a range of fleet technology solutions.

You will manage the full sales cycle from lead to contract, build relationships with fleet operators and decision-makers, and work in a hybrid role with occasional travel across the UK. Salary £30,000–£40,000 plus OTE £50,000, with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B field sales experience.
• Strong new business development experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and cold calling.
• Arranging and attending face-to-face customer meetings.
• Demonstrating video telematics, vehicle tracking, dash cameras and fleet management solutions.
• Building long-term relationships with fleet operators and key decision-makers.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
• Preparing tailored quotations and proposals.
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract completion.
• Managing your own sales pipeline and territory.
• Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
