Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a Team Leader to coordinate a team of drivers, ensuring vehicles are where they need to be when needed. You will lead branch operations, set expectations, and foster productive, engaged teams.

With a strong focus on customer service and motivation, you will own allocation and utilisation of the fleet at your site while maintaining a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy logistics or rental environment.
• Strong customer service and people-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate fleet delivery and collection efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of drivers and Customer Delivery Agents to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery and collection to ensure on-time availability.
• Motivate and develop the team with a positive can-do approach.

Salary:£29,371 pa + bonus up to £2,202 pa OTE

Weekly Hours:42.5 hours - Includes Saturday working on rota

Our branches are busy, fast-paced places to be and, as Team Leader, you are involved at the very heart of it. You are a keypart of the Branch Management Team,co-ordinating the delivery and collection of vehicles to customers.

At heart, you’re a people person and, whilst you mayset expectations high, you love to nurture those around you. You have a real talent for creatingproductive, engaged teamswhere everyone works together to get thingsdone well and on time. With your team of Customer Delivery Agents on board, it’s over to you inspire the team and take ownership for the allocation and utilisation of the fleet at your site, getting the right vehicles to the right customers, just when they need it.

Being a successfulTeam Leaderin branch is really about using yourcustomer service know-how, talent formotivating othersand your calm,‘can-do’ attitudeto get your team pulling in the same direction. Whereas knowledge of vehicle rental or similar logistics environment may be useful (along with a Full UK or EU Driving Licence of course!), what is more important to us is the drive and personality you can bring to the role.
