Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Reading is seeking a Driver/Valeter to ensure vehicles are presented to the highest standards and to assist with driving duties around the branch. No previous experience required beyond a full UK or EU driving licence, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

The role offers a permanent contract with guaranteed hours, a quarterly bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including life assurance and wellbeing support.

Salary: £29,194.00 pa + bonus up to £1,408pa OTE
Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours / week - includes weekend working on rotational basis

Life as a Driver/Valeter with Northgate Vehicle Hire.

This is a varied, hands-on role where the majority of your time will be spent preparing vehicles to the highest standards through valeting and presentation, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for customer use. Alongside this, you’ll also support the branch with driving duties, including moving vehicles between sites and assisting with collections and deliveries when required. Ideal for someone who takes pride in vehicle presentation and enjoys being part of a busy team environment.
