Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Fleet Controller to join its established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet across contracts. You will lead day-to-day servicing, defects and breakdowns, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.

The role requires strong problem solving, customer service and teamwork, with knowledge of fleet practices and familiarity with Jaama Key2 advantageous. We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Problem solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage.
• Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work.
• Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment.
• IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage.
• Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with vehicle suppliers to ensure orders are processed in line with SLA.
• Handle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures to minimise disruption.
• Ensure SLAs are achieved with minimum downtime.
• Investigate and respond to internal customer and external supplier queries.
• Update fleet management systems.
• Assist with general fleet desk duties and support other fleet department tasks.
