Job summary

XPO Logistics in Gotham is seeking a Fleet Support Specialist to join our UK transport teams on a full-time, permanent basis. You will provide administration support to the transport teams across the UK, updating fleet records and assisting the Fleet Manager.

Daily duties include reviewing VOR lists, chasing suppliers, arranging repair work to minimise downtime, and keeping vehicle tax and insurances up to date while maintaining accurate records and timely updates.

Qualifications

• Strong administration skills desirable.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support to UK transport teams and update fleet management records.
• Review VOR lists each AM/PM and challenge vehicles in VMU after 2 days.
• Ensure repairs are completed quickly and provide regular updates.
• Arrange alternative repair agents to minimise downtime.
• Daily yard walk to check fleet condition and discuss daily programme with UK Trucks when Fleet Manager is absent.
• Chase suppliers for VOR equipment and record conversations for management updates.
• Update vehicle registrations on o-licences and insurance policies; keep taxes and road charges paid.
