Job summary

Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer in Milton Keynes is seeking a Customer Service Executive to blend frontline service with practical fleet coordination. You will ensure vehicles are ready for hire and customers are kept moving.

Responsibilities include inspecting trucks and trailers at check-in/out, coordinating servicing and maintenance, communicating with customers about damage and availability, and managing rental agreements and tachograph compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a similar environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks and trailers at check-in/out and record damage; ensure safety and presentation standards.
• Coordinate servicing, MOT tests, maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Communicate with customers about damage, maintenance and vehicle availability; handle recharges professionally.
• Manage rental agreements, invoicing, driver records and tachograph compliance.
• Organise vehicle deliveries and collections; maintain stocks of commonly used spares.
