Job summary

Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer is seeking a Customer Service Executive to blend administrative work with hands-on fleet duties. In this role you will ensure vehicles are ready for hire, respond to customer enquiries and coordinate check-ins and check-outs with care.

You will need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook. We value reliability, clear communication and a proactive approach to maintenance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or similar environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Methodical approach to inspections and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks and trailers on check-in/check-out and record damages.
• Coordinate servicing, MOT tests, maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Communicate with customers about damage, maintenance, and vehicle availability.
• Manage rental agreements, invoicing, driver records and tachograph compliance.
• Organise vehicle deliveries/collections and stock spares.
