Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Controller in Chippenham. The role focuses on controlling vehicle repairs, reducing downtime, and managing costs while delivering excellent service to fleet clients.

You will work within a busy maintenance team, ensure proper records, and review repair estimates and invoices. Hybrid working is available after probation and training, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified vehicle technician with City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, IMI, or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Experience with cars, vans, LCVs, or commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assess and authorise vehicle maintenance and repair requests, ensuring work is necessary and cost-effective.
• Challenge suppliers for best value and compliance.
• Monitor downtime and manage repairs to maximise fleet availability.
• Liaise with workshops, customers, and suppliers on repair progress.
