Job summary

Fleet Control Senior role in the UK, overseeing a busy maintenance control department and ensuring KPI targets are met with your team. You will wear a headset and discuss technical issues with garages and service providers, delivering first-class phone support to the fleet.

You will supervise a small team of Controllers, schedule repairs and inspections, manage FNOL, chase progress with core garages, log notifications and keep downtime to a minimum for a diverse fleet of HGVs, vans, refuse

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a control/maintenance team.
• Ability to schedule repairs and inspections efficiently.
• Knowledge of FNOL (First Notice of Loss) processes.
• Familiarity with fleet maintenance spend and cost analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office and fleet software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a small team of Controllers.
• Schedule repairs, inspections and visits for Field Engineers.
• Handle FNOL scenarios and chase progress with garages.
• Log repair and maintenance notifications and monitor parts stock.
• Minimise vehicle downtime and ensure timely returns to service.
