Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dependable Logistics Supervisor to join our Logistics and Operations team in Corby, UK. You will lead local fleet operations, supervise drivers, optimize routes, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while driving cost efficiency.

This role offers strong growth, vendor collaboration, and a culture focused on reliability and client trust. You'll mentor dispatch staff, manage performance metrics, and partner with internal teams to keep the logistics chain moving

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance systems and transport safety regulations.
• Proven ability in team leadership and vendor management to enhance operational efficiency.
• Very good level of English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee driver scheduling, vehicle assignments, and routing to ensure timely local service and efficient resource use.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as the main liaison for internal technicians and external vendors.
• Track and analyze weekly fleet metrics like fuel usage, repair costs, and vehicle uptime to identify cost-saving improvements.
• Ensure all vehicles and drivers meet DOT regulations, internal safety standards, and environmental protocols.
• Lead dispatches and drivers by promoting accountability, professional growth, and a strong culture of safety.
