Job summary

United Utilities is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator in Warrington. The role is hybrid, focused on coordinating maintenance for HGV and LCV fleets, managing external providers and ensuring compliance and availability across our fleet.

You will drive servicing, inspections and defect repairs, maintain records, and build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to optimise performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating maintenance across HGV and LCV fleets.
• Experience managing external maintenance providers and suppliers.
• Experience using fleet management or maintenance systems with an analytical approach.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Transport Operations or equivalent relevant experience.
• Transport Manager CPC qualification or willing to obtain within 6 months (compulsory).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activity across externally maintained fleets to support operational teams.
• Drive timely servicing, inspections, defect repairs and safety maintenance through external providers.
• Proactively manage maintenance schedules, reactive repairs and breakdown support to maximise availability.
• Ensure operator licence compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation.
