Job summary

Romac Logistics, acting for MAGM Asset Solutions, is seeking a proactive Fleet Supervisor to support day-to-day management of commercial fleets from Middleton. You will be the key contact between customers, workshops, maintenance providers and suppliers, owning issues from identification to resolution.

• Strong customer service with the ability to build relationships with external customers.
• Clear ownership and accountability for customer and operational issues.
• Experience identifying issues, coordinating actions and seeing them through to full resolution.
• Ability to remain responsible for an issue even when another team or supplier does the work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear updates on problems, delays and costs.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple vehicles, customers, suppliers and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day contact for customers, delivering a high standard of service.
• Take ownership of customer fleet issues from identification to resolution and closure.
• Proactively identify issues, risks and delays before they affect the customer.
• Be accountable for progressing issues even if other teams carry out tasks.
• Manage day-to-day requirements of customer HGV and trailer fleets.
• Coordinate servicing, MOTs, inspections, defects and repairs with workshops.
• Monitor vehicle compliance and identify upcoming activity.
• Manage VOR cases, challenging suppliers to minimise downtime.
• Provide customers with timely updates on availability, maintenance and costs.
• Liaise with workshops, dealerships, manufacturers and suppliers on behalf of customers.
• Escalate issues where service levels are at risk while managing to resolution.
• Identify recoverable costs and maintain accurate recharge records.
• Communicate recharge details clearly and progress appropriately.
• Monitor outstanding items and ensure costs are recovered.
• Maintain MAGM fleet management and financial system data.
• Monitor fleet performance and recurring issues.
• Support accident and breakdown management.
• Collaborate with Control Tower to deliver consistent service.
• Contribute to process improvements for issue handling and cost recovery.
