Job summary

Birmingham City Council is hiring a Fleet Compliance Officer to oversee fleet compliance across the Vehicle Maintenance Service. You will conduct audits, maintain records, audit driver compliance, and develop KPIs to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet compliance and auditing activities.
• Knowledge of fleet legislation and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to develop and monitor KPIs for performance.
• Proven reporting and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with policies and laws.
• Maintain records for maintenance, tax, licensing and inspections.
• Audit driver compliance including CPC, licensing, and tachographs.
• Develop KPIs and monitor fleet operational performance.
• Deliver targeted training on compliance standards and procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports and advise senior management on improvements.
