Job summary

Eddie Stobart Ltd, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Head of Fleet and Compliance to provide strategic leadership across the UK and Ireland. You will govern fleet compliance, manage operator licences, and lead regulatory submissions while coaching Transport Managers and compliance teams.

The role requires senior experience in transport governance, strong stakeholder relationships, and a track record of improving regulatory performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in transport compliance or regulatory governance.
• Proven senior management experience with large HGV fleets.
• Experience leading Operator Licence applications and regulatory submissions.
• Experience managing DVSA investigations and public inquiries.
• Experience developing transport compliance strategies and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication with executives and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead fleet governance and transport compliance framework.
• Provide strategic leadership for compliance across all operating centres.
• Develop and implement transport compliance policies and ISO 9001 aligned.
• Engage with DVSA, Traffic Commissioner, and enforcement bodies.
• Oversee OCRS monitoring and risk mitigation.
• Manage central transport compliance systems and data integrity.
• Lead audits and continuous improvement in compliance.
• Ensure regulatory reporting to executives and board.
• Oversee budget for central transport legal compliance.
